Our History
The journey of the Islamic Center of Waynesboro began with a small group of dedicated Muslims who recognized the need for a permanent Islamic center in the area. With the vision of creating a place for prayer, education, and community engagement, ICW was established as a nonprofit religious organization. To further its mission and ensure long-term sustainability, ICW is currently in the process of obtaining 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS.
Since its founding, ICW has been working toward securing a physical space for a Masjid, offering regular prayers and educational programs, and engaging with the broader community through outreach and charity initiatives.
